Dr Marija Naumoska, Doctor of Clinical Psychology/Master of Science, joined the team of Clinical Psychologists at The Balmain Practice in June, 2011. For the past 10 years, she has been working in adult mental health services in various roles. In 2002, she began working on a mental health crisis team, providing practical support and counselling to individuals with moderate to severe mental health issues. In 2003, she joined a community mental health team, where, as a case manager, she was involved in the long-term therapeutic care and rehabilitation of individuals with moderate to severe mental health issues. She remained in this role until 2005, when she joined the team at The Counselling and Therapy Centre, St John of God Hospital, Burwood. At The Counselling and Therapy Centre, Dr Naumoska was primarily involved in conducting group therapy for depression, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. Since joining the team at The Balmain Practice, she has been involved in providing individual therapy for various mental health issues. Her areas of interest are anxiety, depression and trauma-related emotional and interpersonal problems.
